Take on the wolves as Iron Snout brings bacon-flavoured combat to Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch

It’s super cheap to purchase and it’ll see you pulling off crazy martial arts skills on a bunch of big bad wolves. But being a hero pig in Iron Snout isn’t easy – no matter how much you wish it was!

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and PS4 (with a Nintendo Switch drop happening on the 18th April), Iron Snout is the latest title to come about thanks to the porting skills of Ratalaika Games, as it delivers a super cheap, super cheerful, super mad ride in which you take on the role of a little piggy before getting one over on the bad wolf.

Priced at just £4.99 – with a launch discount bringing that even lower to £3.99 – Iron Snout is one of those games that you just have to take a punt on, if only because the premise of beating back hordes of wolves as a little pig is a highly intriguing one.

Getting up close and personal is mostly the idea in Iron Snout, but hand-to-hand combat isn’t the only way to knock back oncomers though and when things get tricky, a butcher’s meat cleaver will certainly come in handy, particularly as your wolfy opponents will come at you carrying all sorts of arsenal.

Should you be after a bit of bacon-flavoured combat and wish to see the pig get one up on his foes, then heading to the Xbox Store and nabbing a cheap download of Iron Snout on Xbox One should be seriously considered. If not, and you prefer the PS4 or Switch way of life, then those options are also more than viable.

Whatever you decide, let us know what you do by posting in the comments below.

Game Description:

Once upon a time, pigs would have to build a house of bricks to keep the wolves at bay, but not anymore. In Iron Snout, its hero piggie has taken up learning martial arts and now it’s the wolves that need to keep their distance because in this bonkers button-mashing beat ’em up, bacon is off the menu for good. Only, hand-to-hand combat isn’t the only way to fight off hordes of wolves, so when the going gets tough, the tough picks up a butcher’s cleaver. After all, how else are you going to defend yourself against wolves that ride wrecking balls and wield chainsaws? It may have been a wolf eat piglet world once before, but this time, the tables are turned in this addictive fighting game that’s got to be played, to be believed. Features: * Fast-paced bacon-flavored combat * Action movie-like combos and fighting moves * Hyper responsive controls * Wide variety enemy weapons to steal and use * Endless gameplay in 3 unique areas * Multiple difficulties to test your skills
