Grab your phones, tablets or computers and prepare for the party starter you’ve been crying out for with the arrival of the fifth instalment of Jackbox Games’ infamous Party Packs.
In The Jackbox Party Pack 5, there are five games to get stuck into during your next gathering for some local multiplayer action; You Don’t Know Jack: Full Stream (1-8 players), Split the Room (3-8 players), Mad Verse City (3-8 players), Patently Stupid (3-8 players), and Zeeple Dome (1-6 players). It doesn’t matter how many controllers are at hand as you must use mobile devices and computers instead.
You Don’t Know Jack: Full Stream is the newest iteration of the pop culture trivia mash-up series and features both new and classic question types. Then there’s Split the Room, where players are given hypothetical situations with a missing element and they need to fill in the blank, before letting others vote on the situation to potentially earn points. Mad Verse City is one for the lyrical masters as giant robots must out-rap each other, with you needing to fill in the gaps and win over the rest of the players. In Patently Stupid, three rounds of creative problem solving will ensure the most inventive and convincing players come out as the winners. And finally, Zeeple Dome is a physics based contest set in an alien combat arena, with players launching their characters across the levels and working together to eliminate enemies.
Having The Jackbox Party Pack 5 on standby could be crucial in avoiding your next social gathering from being a flop. All you need to do to ensure you’re prepared to party on Xbox One is purchase it for £23.99 on the Xbox Store.
