For as good as modern day music is, there is nothing better than heading back to the good old 1980s and taking in some classic tunes. And that is exactly what the Rocksmith gods are letting us do this week.
The 80s Mix Song Pack IV for Rocksmith 2014 and Rocksmith Remastered is here and available for all Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC players to enjoy. Priced at £6.39, the following three tracks are included…
- Huey Lewis and the News – Hip to be Square
- Ratt – Lay It Down
- Steve Winwood – Higher Love
Now obviously you can grab each tune separately too – the usual ÂŁ2.39 price applies – but if you’ve got even a hint of enthusiasm for a couple of the songs on offer, you really should just get out there and splash the cash on the full song pack.
The Xbox Games Store will be able to sort out the Xbox players out there, whilst the PS Store no doubt holds the key to unlocking enjoyment for PS3 and PS4 rockers.
Don’t forget to let us know what you think of this latest song pack. Have we gone back to the 80s too many times for you to care? Or is this something you’ll be snapping up? The comments section below, or the usual social channels, are the best ways to let us know your thoughts.
