The path of the anti-hero is calling once more, and this time, vengeance has never looked so good.

Bandai Namco has officially announced Tales of Berseria Remastered, the third title in their ongoing Tales of Remastered Project.

This emotionally charged journey of betrayal and revenge is set to launch on February 27th, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

This remaster brings one of the most acclaimed entries in the Tales of series to modern platforms, offering a chance for a new generation to experience Velvet Crowe’s tragic story with enhanced visuals and new quality-of-life features.

A World Torn Between Emotion and Reason

Tales of Berseria stands out in the long-running franchise for its darker, more mature tone.

It tells the story of Velvet Crowe, a woman whose life is shattered by a horrific betrayal. In a world torn between emotion and reason, Velvet is driven by a singular, burning desire for revenge for her brother’s murder.

Her journey will see her slashing through anyone and anything in her path, joined by a motley crew of pirates, witches, and demons who are all fighting their own battles against a world that has rejected them.

What’s New in the Remastered Edition?

This definitive edition is designed to be the best way to experience Velvet’s story, easing the journey for new players while delighting returning fans.

Several key updates have been made to smooth out the gameplay experience:

  • Destination Icons: Navigate the world with ease thanks to new markers that guide you to your next objective.
  • Encounter Toggling: Want to focus on the story or explore in peace? You can now toggle enemy encounters on or off at will.
  • Early Grade Shop Access: Gain access to the Grade Shop earlier in the game, allowing you to unlock powerful bonuses and customize your playthrough from the start.

All DLC Included

To complete the package, Tales of Berseria Remastered includes all the downloadable content from the original release. This means players will have immediate access to a huge range of character costumes, bonus items, and other fan-favourite extras without spending a penny more.

The stage is set for a grand and tragic adventure. With its potent mix of emotional storytelling, fast-paced combat, and a cast of unforgettable anti-heroes, Tales of Berseria Remastered is poised to be an essential addition to any RPG fan’s library.

The path of vengeance begins on February 27th, 2026.
