Team17 announce new character and release date for Raging Justice

-

If you thought the streets of Big Smoke City were close to being cleaned up thanks to the daring duo of Nikki Rage and Rick Justice, then you should think again. The corruption is quite obviously too much for two people to handle and another pair of hands is much needed. That’s where Ashley King comes in, and today Team17 and MakinGames haven’t just dropped all the details on the latest character to join the Raging Justice squad, but they’ve also confirmed a release date.

Due for arrival on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, Raging Justice will be available from May 8th 2018, with a third character now in tow.

Ashley King is a street smart inner city kid with a backpack full of whoop ass, and if you were worried that Rage and Justice just weren’t cut out for the clean up job, then having King alongside them should ease those fears.

Thankfully Ashley is no normal kid and after being raised under the constant fear of gang violence, Ash had to grow up and grow up fast. Drawing influence from action movie heroes, Ashley has developed a fast and lethal fighting style that takes enemies by surprise. Full details as follows:

NAME: Ashley King
HEIGHT: 5’5”
AGE: 15
INFO: Ash’s inner-city upbringing was blighted by the fear of gang violence. Fast and lethal, Ash learned to fight on the streets, using movies as inspiration for an arsenal of lethal moves including a signature Crane Kick finisher.

“We realised that Raging Justice needed a third playable character and we wanted someone who would fit the style of the game yet give a very different feel when playing.” Said Nic Makin, lead programmer of MakinGames. Jay Howse, lead artist, added “We chose a teenager because I wanted something different to the usual ‘veteran cop/ex-military’ type. I wanted more of a fish out of water type character, someone who might have ended up in the situation by accident but still manages to hold their own and kick some serious arse!”
