Team17’s Hell Let Loose gets a Hot Drop of new content

-

hell let loose

WWII shooters may not be the first games that come to mind when you consider a Team17 title, but back in October of last year, that’s exactly what the indie publishing kings delivered, as they deployed Hell Let Loose to Xbox Series X|S and PS5. Today they build on that release ever so slightly, with a Hot Drop of new content that is sure to please the fans.

Available right now to purchase, download and drop into your Hell Let Loose experience are no less than three new DLC packs, each of which will let you find a little more joy with the WWII shooter.

With the base game in your digital library, you’ll be able to complement things with the additions of the Hot Drop, Tropic Fever and False Front content additions.

Each of these is priced at £3.99 from the Xbox Store (expect a similar price for those on PlayStation) and are capable of providing players with the chance to build out their units with new cosmetic garb.

The Hot Drop pack for instance will let you go equipped with the US Airborne Pathfinder uniform in tow, kitting your Rifleman, Support, Medic, Sniper, Auto Rifleman, Heavy MG, Spotter, Assault, Engineer, Anti-Tank or Officer units out well. Just be aware, you won’t be getting a helmet for any of these guys.

The Tropic Fever pack then provides a US Jungle Frogskin Uniform and Helmet for all classes, whilst the final pack – that of the False Front – will again build out the uniform side of things.

Initially it seems as though £3.99 price tags attached to each may be a little high in terms of content that is provided, but should you be a fan of Hell let Loose – and we certainly were in our review of the game on Xbox Series X|S – then it may just be worth your time adding some of these packs in.

Let us know if you decide to do just that.

Hell Let Loose is playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The Xbox Store links can be found in bold up above.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
