Ready to smash your way through bullets and blood? God’s Trigger is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and Techland have now confirmed the launch date.
Created by the team at One More Level, and then pushed forward to an unsuspecting world by Techland Publishing, God’s Trigger looks set to combine brutishly hyper-stylized, ultraviolent presentation with gameplay that requires creative precision in order to deliver a relentlessly-paced entertainment experience, come April 18th 2019.
Due to hit Xbox One, PS4 and PC, God’s Trigger will place you firmly into the bloodstained shoes of two badass heroes: Harry, a fallen angel, and Judy, a demon. And it is this duo’s goal to stop the apocalypse in the most excessively brutal and bombastic way possible.
As you may expect, having two heroes in play means twice the possibility for mayhem, with you able to switch freely between characters during the solo campaign, strategically utilising the unique strengths and weapons of each. Alternatively, you can team up with a real-life partner-in-crime to ensure the violent demise of all enemies via a local couch co-op option.
To do so, you’ll need to rely on the ability to make split-second decisions, massacring enemies with a variety of guns, melee weapons, special abilities and environmental traps, with it all played out in God’s Trigger through visually spectacular bloodbaths.
Are you ready for some unforgivingly intense, brutal action where just one pull of the trigger is enough to kill the enemy, or yourself? Let us know your thoughts by posting in the comments below, or hitting us up on the usual social channels. You’ll want to embrace the power of God’s Trigger when it releases digitally on Xbox One, PS4 and PC come April 18th 2019.
Until that time though, there’s a little trailer to take in! Don’t miss it.
