If you’ve got even the slightest bit of interest in the Game of Thrones TV series, then you should be sitting back and taking in everything we can give you about Telltale Games’ upcoming videogame series.
Obviously based on the world found in the award-winning HBO television drama series, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will tell the story of House Forrester. Caught up in the events of The War of the Five Kings, they are placed in a precarious position where members of the household must do everything they can to prevent the house from meeting its doom. The events in the game will begin towards the end of Season Three, ending just before Season Five kicks off.
You’ll get the chance to control five members of House Forrester during the series but you’ll also get to interact with Tyrion Lannister performed by Peter Dinklage, Cersei Lannister performed by Lena Heady, Margaery Tyrell performed by Natalie Dormer, and Ramsay Snow performed by Iwan Rheon, whilst additional cast members will appear in later episodes.
The game will be played from five different points of view. Each is a member of House Forrester; either a direct family member, or a person in service to the House. Scattered across Westeros and Essos, each will play their part in seeking to save House Forrester from destruction. As is the way with many Telltale titles, the actions of one character will affect the rest of House Forrester, so you’ll have to be careful with each and every action.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PC/Mac and iOS. Additional platforms (we’re guessing Android) will be announced at a later date.
But the best way of telling you about it is by showing you it….as in the trailer below.
