The Tenants
The Tenants – now on Xbox and PlayStation

Millions of kids across the globe have the likes of football player, social media influencer, and astronaut as their dream job when they grow up. Landlord? Hmmm, perhaps not, and The Tenants shows exactly why leasing out your own homes can be so damn tricky!

Style Over Substance

Now available for the first time on console – Xbox and PlayStation, to be precise – The Tenants has been captivating fans of simulation games over on PC for a good few years now.

Developed by Frozen District (of House Flipper fame), this challenging little title tasks you with taking control of your own properties, sprucing them up before putting them in the hopefully capable hands of your tenants.

Those placid tenants only really care about one thing, and that’s style! Polishing your apartments with the newest of furniture, a fashionable paint-job, and the swankiest of facilities is a one-way ticket to maximising your revenue.

Balancing your income between safe deals and risky bargains is the best way to keep you on your toes and see your bank account stay in the green.

It’s Not All Sunshine & Rainbows…

And yet, whilst many will enjoy the decorative aspect of The Tenants, the game is called that for a reason. Ensure you shake hands with the right tenant, as you’ll be the one called in to fix any issues, pay the pest-control man to deal with rats, and ensure any petty squabbles are resolved in a reasonable manner.

Of course, any fixes you make will come out of your own pocket, unless you want to demand some extra rent-money from your customers!

Key Features

  • Decide which tenants you want to make business with. React to various situations… you never know what’s gonna happen: annoyed neighbours, problematic tenants, police involved? Gotta stay alert!
  • Design your apartments and give them a polished look. Get rid of that old paint and buy some new furniture or just change the floors. Do not overdo it though! The better it looks, the more money you make!
  • Invest wisely to achieve maximum profit. Keep an eye out for the best bargain, and strike when you see an opportunity. Are you into risky deals, or you just want to play it safe? The choice is yours!
  • Become a landlord and get involved in real-estate. You are the one in the driver’s seat. Stay calm, focused and ready to make your bussiness rise all the way to the top!

Play Today!

The Tenants is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC. If it’s a copy on Xbox you are looking for, you can do so via the Xbox Store, where the game costs £20.99.

The Tenants Description

Become a landlord and deal with problematic tenants as you build your rental property empire. Decide how to react to annoyed neighbors or police interventions. Will you design your apartment for a group of gamer friends or an aspiring musician looking for a new home?

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
