Welcome to the underworld’s busiest call center, where you, as the protagonist Vanitas, have the crucial job of guiding frantic ghosts from the overworld to their final destination. Lost souls, wild requests, and overlapping conversations await in the weirdest workplace imaginable.
The callers you’ll be dealing with are ghosts facing all sorts of difficult situations – some are lost on their way to the afterlife, others are about to be exorcised, and all of them are crying out for help at once. You must quickly understand what each one is saying, untangle the mess of overlapping conversations, and connect them to the correct spectral network.
All this is happening amidst the typical workplace drama of prejudice against communication tech (even in the afterlife!), staff shortages, and the general confusion of adapting to a new, ethereal existence.
Gameplay: Total Communication Chaos
1f y0u’re a gh0st ca11 me here! challenges you to keep your cool while the screen floods with chatter:
- Simultaneous Dialogue: Three or more speech bubbles will appear on screen at once, with each conversation progressing at the same time.
- Quick & Correct Responses: You must understand the meaning of each overlapping conversation and choose the correct response for each individual ghost within the time limit.
- Shape Your Ending: The game’s ending changes depending on your performance over six chaotic days. Quick decisions, sharp thinking, and a little ghostly intuition will determine your fate.
- Challenge Mode: For players who want an even greater challenge after the main story, “The HundredCallRun” mode is also included!
