Zombie-filled nightmares are two-a-penny on the console scene. But every now and then a fun undead alternative pops up. And that’s what we have here and now with the launch of Zombies Ruined My Day on Xbox One – a super cheap, amusing nightmare that is full of zombie action.
Available to purchase and download from the Xbox Store for a measly £3.29 (seriously, you won’t find many games cheaper than that), Zombies Ruined My Day comes from the team at Rendercode Games – they behind one of the few that are cheaper, Crypt of the Serpent King – to deliver a new tale full of zombie bashing moments.
Dropping you straight into a hostile arena, your time with Zombies Ruined My Day will revolve around grabbing the nearest pieces of weaponry and defending your position from the oncoming forces of undead.
By utilising barricades, throwing out grenades and piling on the pressure with automatic machine guns, working with what you’ve got is going to be key here. The problem is those you are going up against could well be rather evil monstrosities – guess you’ll just have to show them who is boss across the 27 included stages.
