You’re probably already familiar with Josef the robot and the adventures that play out through the entirety of Machinarium. After all, this isn’t a new game, and has been doing the rounds on multiple formats for many a year. Today though we see the award-winning robot arrive on Xbox One. And no matter whether you have played Machinarium previously or not, you’ll certainly want to get involved here.

Available to purchase and download on Xbox One after previously being found over on mobile devices, PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, Machinarium is a critically acclaimed point and click puzzler from the team at Amanita Design, leaving you to help Josef the robot on his duties. It is these which focus around saving his girlfriend and taking down the evil Black Cap Brotherhood.

Priced at £12.99, one brief glance at Machinarium will tell you all you need to know, with the delightful world drawing you in as you go about solving puzzles and working with the point and click elements to ensure that Josef’s life is an easy one.

With a muted story pushed along by your actions and the world which unfurls around you, it’s fair to say that Machinarium is an utter delight. Yet only by checking out our upcoming full review of Machinarium on Xbox One will that be confirmed. Keep an eye out for it

If you’re up for embarking on this adventure again, or for the very first time, head on over to the Xbox Store and nab your download. We’re pretty sure you won’t regret it. As always though, let us know if you’ll be spending time in the Machinarium world. The comments section is down below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
