The Best 18+ Xbox Games of All Times

-

Xbox console has been around since 2001 and it has managed to establish itself as one of the best consoles ever. It was a hard task for sure. The market was dominated by Play Station, but Microsoft managed to make a place for itself.

Xbox beats PlayStation when it comes to compatibility with games from previous versions of the console. This means you can revisit some of your favorite titles without having to buy old consoles if you don’t own one. So, we’ve prepared a list of the best 18+ video games that you can play on your Xbox consoles. New titles, as well as some older ones, if you want to take a trip down memory lane. Enjoy!

Bioshock 2 Remastered

Bioshock 2 is the first-person shooter sequel to the critically acclaimed Bioshock which younger players might not remember. The gameplay is similar, with new weapons and abilities, but the storyline has been rewritten to be darker than the original. This remastered version includes the DLC that originally came with it when it was released in 2010. The game offers some interesting gameplay features like gambling in the form of slot games similar to what you can find in an online casino like this.

Red Dead Redemption 2

The sequel to one of the most successful western-themed games. Rockstar’s masterpiece needs no introduction. The game is set in the American heartland and follows the story of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw who has to choose between his ideals and his loyalty to the gang he’s part of. The game is full of beautiful scenery, well-written characters, and interesting moral choices.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher franchise is regarded as one of the most popular fantasy games in history. The Witcher 3 is the ultimate game in the series and was one of 2015’s most successful games in general. The third game in the series offered a huge open world with plenty of places to explore and quests to complete. The main storyline intertwined with smaller side missions, which made it more exciting.

Grand Theft Auto V

Even though it was released almost 10 years ago, GTA V remains alive through numerous DLCs and online version of the game, although fans are wishing for its successor for a long time now. It may not be coming any time soon, but at least the current offering is being refreshed regularly.

Resident Evil 2 (Remake)

Resident Evil remains one of the most resilient game franchises. The second entry in the series was released back in 1998 and quickly became a cult classic. The remake of the game was in development for much longer than anyone expected, but was still a welcomed refresh of the original. The game features the same gameplay mechanics: third-person shooting, exploration, and puzzle-solving.

Fallout 4

The Fallout series became popular through its original post-apocalyptic world, full of iconic characters and terrifying creatures. The fourth installment in the series was no exception. It’s set in Boston where the world has changed dramatically after an atomic war that took place 200 years ago.

Far Cry 3

We love all Far Cry games (well, most of them at least), but nothing beats Far Cry 3. It’s the game that put the franchise on the map. The promotion of the game was also memorable, with a failed launch which was followed by an apology and free DLC. Still, Far Cry 3 remains one of the best first-person shooters, and most definitely the most iconic game of the franchise.
