The brilliant beats of Aaero headline the Xbox Games With Gold October freebies

games with gold october 2021

Yep, it’s time to wake up for September has nearly reached an end. But on the plus side, it does at least mean that us Xbox gamers will soon be treated to some new freebies and rewards through the Xbox Games With Gold scheme for October 2021. The free games being gifted our way this time out are pretty sweet too with the brilliant beats of Aaero leading things out.

As September ends and October looms into view, it’s time for the freebies given out via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme to change, doing away with the likes of Warhammer Chaosbane, Samurai Shodown II and all, with those being replaced by four new titles.

The games being given away for October are well worth taking a look at though, with the following being stripped of their price tags in the foreseeable future…

Obviously it goes without saying that you’ll only find the games listed free to pick up and own should you have a valid Xbox Live Gold subscription to hand. If you do though, you’ll be sorted with the first two going free very soon. You’ll then find the hump of the month is when things switch up – we’ll be sure to let you know once Hover and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X go free.

This monthly change does mean that if you haven’t yet grabbed September’s free Games With Gold titles, time is fast running out. You’ve got a little while to sort your free download of Mulaka (make sure you action that by mid-Oct), but you’ll want to grab the rest as soon as possible.

As always, let us know if the freebies arriving through Games With Gold for October 2021 are to your liking. Surely with a zero price tag attached, you’ll be crazy to miss out on these, especially when Aaero is so good and Code: Veronica is so iconic. Oh, and there’s a reason we included it in our Best Resident Evil Spin-offs piece too.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
