Missed out on Call of Duty WWII first time around? Then pick up the Gold Edition which lets you get yourself straight into the fight.
Available right now, the Gold Edition replaces the standard edition and includes the base game, first DLC pack The Resistance and a bonus 1,100 Call of Duty: WWII Points!
The base game goes back to the beginning of the Call of Duty franchise where players can experience such iconic WWII moments including the D-Day landings. Our review of the game called it a ‘more than decent entry into the franchise’.
Alongside the single player campaign is the customary multiplayer, featuring a much more grounded experience than more recent Call of Duty’s have provided. There is also the co-op mode, with the return of the Nazi Zombies.
Also included now is the first DLC pack called The Resistance. This brings with it three new multiplayer maps: Occupation – a classic CoD map set in Paris, Anthropoid based in Prague rife with long corridors for snipers and Valkyrie set in East Prussia, nowadays part of Russia, Poland and Lithuania.
As well as the new maps for standard multiplayer, there is a new War Mode map called Operation Intercept, where players need to rescue Resistance fighters who are being transported on a train.
Finally, there is the next chapter in the WWII Zombies chapter, The Darkest Shore. Here, players travel to an island after receiving intel Doktor Straub is hidden away there.
And if all that wasn’t enough, 1,100 Call of Duty: WWII Points should be able to sweeten the deal.

But what if I bought the standard and then switched ps4? I try to download it on my ps4 and the standard isn’t on the store and even when I try to buy the gold edition it says I already have the game please help
