The next chapter in the brain-teasing series based on a timeless mathematical puzzle has just been stacked on the Xbox and PC stores, and this time it comes with a colour-flipping new twist.
Hanoi Puzzles: Flip Match, a new title from developer and publisher Hanoi Studios, has launched today, 26th September 2025.
This new challenge is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for just £4.99, and comes with full Xbox Play Anywhere support.

The core of the gameplay is based on the famous Tower of Hanoi puzzle. Your goal is to assemble towers by stacking pieces of the same colour, but with one crucial rule: a larger piece can never be placed on top of a smaller one.
This is where the new challenge comes in. Every single time you move a piece, it flips over and changes its main colour. This means you’ll often have to make extra moves just to get the right colour on top, adding a whole new layer of strategy to the classic puzzle. You’ll also need to unlock blocked hexagonal cells by building a tower of the same colour on them, opening new paths to advance through the level.
