minecraft dungeons creeping winter dlc

We’ve been told many times that winter is coming, but now it’s finally reached the lands of Minecraft Dungeons. Are you ready to put a stop to the never-ending frost?

If you’re a fan of Minecraft, or a lover of dungeons, then the launch of Minecraft Dungeons would no doubt have sorted you out. But like anything, keeping worlds fresh and exciting is an ever-increasing challenge – and so that is where the latest DLC for the game comes in. The Creeping Winter.

Priced at £4.99 and following on from the Jungle Awakens DLC, Minecraft Dungeons: Creeping Winter is available to purchase, download and add into your existing Minecraft Dungeons game. And should you splash that meagre asking price will find that the lands you are left to navigate have been hit by a cold icy blast, all thanks to the Wretched Wraith. It’ll be up to you go head out, overcome all obstacles and take down the Wraith and save the lands.

Creeping Winter includes no less than three brand new missions for you to take in, a couple of new enemies to battle against – Illusioner and Iceologer – and the Wretched Wraith themselves in a boss battle to the death.

Thankfully it also provides you access to new weapon types, new armour and additional artefacts to make the most of, as you attempt to hunt down the source of the icy corruption.

If you think you have what it takes to stay cool then Minecraft Dungeons: Creeping Winter can be grabbed from your usual digital stores this minute. We’ll point you towards the Xbox Store as that is pretty much our second home. Let us know in the comments below if you decide to give this a blast. With the base game available on Xbox Game Pass, and the content itself running at cheap as chips prices – and being included in the Hero Pass Upgrade or Hero Edition should you have purchased those – there really is no reason not to head into this wintery land.

DLC Description:

A creeping winter is slowly taking over everything it touches, and the source of its chilling power is a powerful creature known as the Wretched Wraith. To stop the never-ending winter in its icy tracks, a noble hero must take on new missions in the lands trapped below zero. It won’t just be wintry winds that seek to throw the hero from their path to destroy the Wretched Wraith, but new enemies such as the Illusioner and Iceologer will join the brawl! As you hunt down the source of corruption, you’ll discover new armour, weapons and artefacts below the snow and sleet. Stay cool and keep a steady hand, for the frost is unforgiving.
