The Crew Motorfest Season 8

The festival in Hawaii is far from over; in fact, it’s just revving up for another full year of action.

Ubisoft has officially kicked off Year 3 of The Crew Motorfest, with Season 8 launching tomorrow, November 5th. This huge free update will be available for all players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation platforms, and PC.

This new season, unveiled during The Crew Showcase 2025, promises a thrilling dive into the world of underground street racing, a deep celebration of the iconic BMW M brand, and the arrival of long-awaited customisation features.

A Brilliant Racer Finds its Stride

It’s been a fantastic journey for The Crew Motorfest. When it first launched, we were blown away by its vibrant world and thrilling driving. In our 4.5/5 review, we called it “a brilliant racer” and “an open-world motorsport fanatic’s dreamscape.

Since then, the game has only gotten better, with a constant stream of high-quality seasonal content. We’ve celebrated European excellence with Ferrari in Season 7 and taken to the skies with Red Bull in Season 6.

Now, Season 8 is here to take the action back to the streets, kicking off Year 3 at full throttle.

Welcome to Season 8: Underground Thrills

The new season is split into two distinct themes, starting with a gritty, rebellious dive into the street racing scene.

Launching on November 5th, the new Street Riders playlist introduces players to the Monkeys’ Kitchen, a rogue collective that blends street art, wild beats, and no-rules racing in Hawaii’s urban jungle. Their races are secret, their style is untamed, and their message is clear: the real thrill lives on the street.

But then, a couple of months later on January 7th, the festival shifts gears to honour a legend. The BMW M Playlist will arrive, offering a deep tribute to the engineering excellence and racing DNA of BMW. Guided by Marc Thiesbürger, spokesperson for BMW M Classic, players will experience legendary cars, motorcycles, and high-performance machines while diving into the brand’s rich heritage.

Community-Requested Features Arrive

Ubisoft Ivory Tower has been listening to fan feedback, and Season 8 delivers on some of the most-requested features yet.

The customisation suite is getting a major upgrade. Stance customisation is being introduced, and over 40 new branded rim models from iconic names like BBS Motorsport, HRE, and OZ Racing are being added. All rims will be fully customisable, from colours and materials to size, giving you unprecedented control over your ride’s look.

Two major accessibility updates are also here. The Friend Pass will allow players to invite up to three friends to play the full game for free, with no time limits, as long as they stay in the same crew. Additionally, the game has now received full Steam Deck verification.

The Year 3 Pass and New Vehicles

A total of 21 new vehicles will roll out across Season 8, including the BMW M3 (E46), Mercedes-AMG GT, Pagani Imola, and the BMW M Hybrid V8.

Players who purchase the new Year 3 Pass will get exclusive early access to the Ferrari 12 Cilindri (2025) and the Zenvo Aurora Agil (2026). As a bonus, owners of the Year 1 or Year 2 Pass who buy the new pass will also unlock the Cadillac Ciel Concept (2011) for free.

A new year of high-octane racing has begun. With a return to the gritty world of street racing, a deep celebration of a motoring icon, and a host of community-requested features, Season 8 is the perfect reason to book your return ticket to O’ahu.

The update is free and available to all players from tomorrow. All you need is a copy of The Crew Motorfest, either on Xbox (through the Xbox Store), Playstation or PC.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
