It feels like it released a lot longer ago than in 2020, but when The Dark Pictures Anthology continued on its way with the launch of Little Hope back in November, it gave players the opportunity to embrace a whole new tale, one full of mystery and intrigue. Now though with the addition of the free Curator’s Cut, Little Hope provides even more playable scenes, with all new perspectives on offer.
Free to download and add into your Little Hope game, the Curator’s Cut brings forth a number of new playable scenes, giving an altogether new perspective on the haunting mysteries that are found within.
This does of course mean that all-new choices are available for your consideration too, each of which will come with certain consequences and reactions. If there’s one thing that The Dark Pictures Anthology has done from the get-go – even from the release of the first game in the series, Man of Medan – it’s giving reason to your decision making.
If you’re looking for a brand new take on what Little Hope previously delivered, and have played right through the original game to its conclusion (you’ll need to do just that in order to access the Curator’s Cut), then the usual digital stores will provide you a whole new, free, experience.
The Xbox Store is the place to be if you’re playing The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, but you should also find it available on other formats too – PS4 and PC for instance.
Let us know in the comments if you’re ready for another trip into the unknown with Little Hope and this new free Curator’s Cut.Â
DLC Description:
The Curator’s cut features new scenes playable from the other characters’ perspective giving the player brand new choices and decisions to make and an alternative view of the game with a different set of consequences The Curator’s cut is only available once you have completed the main story.
Have you downloaded from the Xbox Store yet? The Curators Cut allows you to play through the extra stuff available when playing co-op so if you’ve already played through as Player 2 on Movie Night or online, there isnt anything new here.
I can’t access the curators cut….i have finished the main story…so i have to do it all over again on theatrical? If thats the case. Im going to give it a miss as the ending was rubbish anyway and it took all the fun out of keeping people alive
