We’ll admit that we’d never heard of Dyna Bomb before, which is strange seeing as it has previously been doing the rounds on PC, Switch and, more recently, PlayStation. Now though 7 Raven Studios’ explosive jetpack-fuelled platformer finally comes to Xbox – and this could well be a little under-the-radar hit.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – as well as on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and PS4 – Dyna Bomb certainly has the numbers behind it to prove that this could well be worth a look.
Priced at £4.19, it’s cheap enough to warrant consideration, and when you throw in 64 levels – explosive ones at that – the whole price-to-content ratio moves considerably up. Throw in a load of enemies, some secret levels on top and plenty of powerups and Dyna Bomb looks to be, well, the bomb.
Should you be tempted by this one, expect to find yourself working your way through a number of platforming styled levels, utilising a glorious jetpack – oh how we love a jetpack – dropping bombs like they are going out of fashion. World domination is the ultimate goal, but that all depends on whether you have the skills to back things up.
