The fantastical Fort Triumph gears up to launch on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

It’s been a year since we saw the fantastical Fort Triumph launch on PC through Steam, but just as the All in! Games and CookieByte Entertainment teams go about celebrating the 12-month anniversary, the announcement that console players want to hear has been made – Fort Triumph is coming to Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

There are a few ways you can celebrate anniversaries and even though All in! Games have dropped a huge 55% discount on Fort Triumph AND bundled it up with MuHa games, it’s the console announcement that has us most excited.

Inspired by XCOM, Fort Triumph will be making waves on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Q3 2021, with backwards compatibility issues solved by the power of Xbox Series X|S and PS5.  Sold as a challenging yet fun (yeah right, we’ve heard that one before, thanks!), Fort Triumph takes a bit of XCOM, mixes in some Heroes of Might and Magic III, and then adds its own unique little twists to create something pretty unique.

When it arrives on console in Q3 2021, you’ll find the opportunity to explore worlds, build towns, collect items and artifacts, upgrade heroes and put your own stamp on the surroundings, utilising tactical nous wherever it may be needed.

A brand new gameplay trailer allows an insight into how this all plays out – give it a watch right now and then hold tight for launch of Fort Triumph on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

And if you can’t wait, well, you’d be crazy to ignore that heavily discounted Steam price. As always though, let us know your full thoughts. Are you excited to see Fort Triumph deliver some fantastical tactical gameplay to console? The comments section is below and we’re on all the usual social media channels.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
