Lizards Must Die 2 throws players into large-scale battles against hordes of enemies, either alone or alongside others in cooperative play. The sequel expands on the original with a selection of playable heroes, each bringing their own abilities and combat style to the fight.
That means the action isn’t simply about charging headfirst into every encounter – although we’re sure there will be plenty of that too. Players can make use of different weapons and powerful abilities as they battle their way through the invading forces.

A World That Doesn’t Take Itself Too Seriously
The world of Lizards Must Die 2 is as deliberately ridiculous as its name suggests. The game takes players through villages, ancient settlements and the corrupted lands controlled by the invading lizards, all while leaning heavily into exaggerated action and absurd humour.
Expect plenty of overblown heroics, ridiculous dialogue and a healthy dose of chaos along the way. This is very much a game that appears to know exactly what it is and is happy to push that idea as far as possible.
The lizards may have arrived with new technology and greater intelligence, but the heroes have plenty of answers of their own.

Lizards Must Die 2 has already been available on Steam since 2025, where it has picked up Very Positive user reviews. Now Xbox and PlayStation players get the opportunity to see what all the lizard-related chaos is about.
