If you are either a LEGO or Star Wars fan, the chances are you haven’t even considered letting the opportunity of playing LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga pass you by. And if you have, well, we can only pity you. But you can change that right now with the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition.
When LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga released back in April of this year, we gave it 4.5/5 stars in our full review – it truly is one of the best, certainly the most expansive, LEGO game to date, with tons of characters, all nine movies and a plethora of side missions to enjoy. And now, with the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition, there’s no better time to jump back in, or hit the Hyperdrive for the first time.
Releasing digitally on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC platforms, the Galactic Edition of The Skywalker Saga is the definitive way to play Warner Bros.’ epic title right now. Including all the content from the first game – story levels from each of the nine main films, as well as open world hubs, hundreds of characters to play as, and more collectibles that you could shake a brick at.
That’ll take a good few hundred hours to 100%, but developers TT Games looked at that and thought they could do better. The Galactic Edition also throws in the seven playable character packs released for the game so far, as well as a further six character packs coming in the month of November. Those character packs are *deep breath*:
- November 1st – Star Wars: The Clone Wars pack
- November 1st – The LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation character pack
- November 15th – Star Wars: Rebels pack
- November 15th – Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi pack
- November 29th – Star Wars: Andor pack
- November 29th – Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett character pack
Each pack will contain a number of minifigures to add to the quite frankly ridiculously large roster, and these can also be purchased separately if you own the base game, via the Character Collection Bundles, or as individual packs.
