The free-to-play Dauntless gets new limited-time paid DLC

It’s fairly common practice to see a free-to-play base game get hit with a plethora of paid DLC. In that regard, Dauntless is standard procedure. Doesn’t mean we can’t get excited by the latest content to hit the game though. You’ll want to be quick to get hold of it though.

Available right now, to purchase and download, is the Dauntless Heartgem Armour Bundle. It’s priced up at £16.74, which is some price, but consider that the base game is free, then things don’t feel quite as bad.

Dauntless itself released back in May of 2019 to deliver gamers the chance to become a Slayer, working your way through a hostile world full of Behemoths. With huge bosses left, right and centre, Dauntless plays on the powerful weapons that are at your disposal – working with these is the difference between success and failure.

But it’s a game that has been smacked with a ton of DLC over the years, with the latest being that of the Heartgem Armour Bundle. It’s this which adds in a number of armour skins, as well as a decent smattering of some in-game Platinum.

In all, purchase the Dauntless Heartgem Armour Bundle and you’ll find access to the Star-Crossed Boots, the Rapturous Handwraps, the Steadfast Tunic and the Adoration Hood. These are all armour skins that give you the chance to go about creating a full armour skin set with which you can celebrate Saint’s Bond.

Further is the inclusion of a ton of Platinum – no less than 2300 of them in fact, running as the usual 2000 + 300 bonus.

If you’re a Dauntless player, you’d do well to hit up the Xbox Store and grab a download of the Heartgem Armour Bundle for £16.74. Just be aware that this is only available for a limited time.

Dauntless is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s on PC and PlayStation too.

DLC Description:

This beautiful armour set will bedazzle your friends and impress your competitors!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
