A brand-new adventure action game, Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia follows on from Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! and the XXL trilogy, as the most famous of Gauls get set for a new adventure.
Due to release this Fall on Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia will take you on a journey through Hibernia for a series of memorable brawls where no dirty tricks will be barred. Yep, if you wish to go smashing your enemies with a barrel, you can.
For the very first time, the game will be playable solo and co-op with up to 4 players and promises to ensure that even the most courageous Romans should hold on to their helmet.
The year is 50 BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely! One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders… Meanwhile, in Hibernia (today known as Ireland) Keratine, chief Whiskitonix’s daughter, is calling Asterix and Obelix to the rescue as they need help to overcome the Roman invasion and bring back her father’s beloved golden ram. For this mission, you’ll control your favorite heroes and use your fists and any surrounding objects to make your way while throwing Romans in the air! Our two Gauls will also be able to count on their trusty druid Getafix, who’s been working on a new magic potion recipe for extra power!
Sold as a brand-new top down explosive adventure focusing on your favorite Gauls, you should get ready for non-stop action, mind bending puzzle solving, exploration and items to collect in this one-of-a-kind adventure as good as a boar stew! Your journey will take you through Hibernia, spanning across six chapters, each of them filled with Romans and collectibles.
You’ll get to be creative too – the more combo styles and diverse items you use during the fight, the bigger the surprises will be. And better still, you’ll be stronger together as Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia will offer a co-op mode for up to four players on the same screen!
