Currently found breathing fire on Steam in Early Access, The Handler of Dragons has now been confirmed for full console release. Today we begin to understand more as to plans to launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation and Switch, with a little bit of a release window confirmed.
Admittedly, that release window is large, with the entirety of 2022 in place to cover the launch of Handler of Dragons on Xbox. But hey, that’s better than nothing, is it not?
The Handler of Dragons has been in development for more than 3 years by Jerzy Caliński, yet as it drops onto the market we should expect to see it fully published by those at Golden Eggs Studio.
It’s a 3D action RPG game with a third person perspective as the player takes on the role of a warrior who can communicate with dragons; creatures that are key to the story set in a unique fantasy world.
The gameplay is mainly based on exploration, interactions and both discovering and shaping the story. But then, you can go fighting monsters – skeletons, orcs, trolls and golems – for further gains. As you do so you’ll discover that your character progresses, learning new skills and magic attacks. And just to round things off nicely, the game is also distinguished by a system of moral choices.
“When developing The Handler of Dragons, I set myself the goal of combining an intriguing adventure and fun gameplay with some degree of depth, so that perhaps players could take something more out of this game. In this context, the moral choices made in the game and their outcomes play an important role, because you will have to face the consequences of your decisions” – said Jerzy Caliński, the game’s creator.
The Handler of Dragons may seem vast in its plans, but as Jerzy Caliński pointed out, completing the game takes an average of about 3 hours, but the possibility of getting to know the plot after making different decisions may encourage you to play again. In fact, it’ll be up to you to decide whether or not you wish to run a positive or negative attitude towards dragons.
The Handler of Dragons features include:

It’ll then be in 2022 when The Handler of Dragons launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
