INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road
INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road – now available

The long-awaited next chapter in the legendary hyperdimensional football RPG series has finally taken to the pitch, and it’s bringing an almost unbelievable roster with it.

INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road, the massive new title from LEVEL5, has launched today, for early access players. This new adventure is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with the Deluxe Edition priced at ÂŁ65.98.

For those with a little more patience, the Standard Edition (ÂŁ57.98) will be launching in 72 hours, on 13th November.

A New Story, 25 Years in the Making

This new tale takes place 25 years after the first Inazuma Eleven. In a search for a world without football, the new protagonist, Destin Billows, enrols at South Cirrus Junior High. Meanwhile, a Football Monster named Harper Evans is rising through the ranks at the prestigious Raimon Junior High. When these two dramatically cross paths, a new tale begins to unfold.

More Than Just a Match

This is the ultimate Inazuma Eleven package, packed with a mind-boggling amount of content and new ways to play.

You’ve got the Chronicle Mode, that of the Ultimate Dream Team. This is where the true scale of the game is revealed. Victory Road features a roster spanning over 5,400 characters from previous entries in the series!

In Chronicle Mode, you can relive past Inazuma Eleven matches, take on various teams, and collect and train any of these characters to build your ultimate dream team.

To bring the new story to life, the in-game anime cutscenes have been made in cooperation with the legendary animation studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan). This new entry features the longest anime runtime in the series’ history, promising to take the story’s intensity to new heights.

On top of the story and classic matches, you can also build your own Bond Town. This new hub allows you to freely arrange nostalgic objects from the series, customize your own avatar, and even invite friends over to socialise and play matches together.

Is INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road on Game Pass or Play Anywhere?

So the big question – is INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road available to play on Game Pass?

The short answer is no, it is not on Game Pass. The slightly longer reply would be that it’s not on at launch, but whether we see INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road hit Game Pass further down the line is up for debate. We can cross fingers and hope.

Further, INAZUMA ELEVEN Victory Road is not an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

Even with that in mind though, a new legend is ready to be written, and the pitch is waiting. If you’re a fan of deep, content-packed, and utterly unique RPGs, INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road is ready for your team on the Xbox Store and other digital platforms – PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC (through Steam) right now.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
