There’s only a week until release but the latest trailer to come out of the GRID: Autosport offices aims right for the street.
The latest video from Codemasters has revealed the Street racing discipline, showing some dramatic wheel-to-wheel action and featuring the guys from PistonHeads who explain exactly what it is like to drive some of the worlds most exciting cars.
Dan Trent of PistonHead tells us “driving on a tight circuit with no run off is very, very different from driving on the circuits. [With] Tracks with closed fences by the sides, narrow tracks, you get a heightened sense of speed. Everything is ramped up – the fear factor, the excitement, the adrenaline, everything is magnified. You just know that you can’t afford to make any kind of mistake.”, whilst Matt Burton explains more about the unique experience of racing supercars like those featured in Autosport.
With the Street racing events in GRID Autosport, players will take to the tarmac around some of the world most iconic cities, as circuits are carved through the streets of Washington D.C., San Francisco, Paris, Barcelona, Dubai and Chicago. Grab your Mini John Cooper Works GP, Volkswagen Golf R, Pagani Huayra or McLaren P1 and bring the authentic experience of racing in these events to life.
GRID: Autosport will arrive on Xbox 360 between June 24th-27th, depending where in the world you may be!
