BrokenLore LOW
BrokenLore LOW – out now on Xbox

A new psychological horror that blends ancient Japanese folklore with modern art has just cast its shadow over the Xbox Store.

BrokenLore: LOW, the next entry in the intricate horror series, has released on Xbox Series X|S. This new title from developer and publisher Serafini Productions is available right now for £8.39.

Prepare to explore the beautiful and mysterious Japanese village of Kirisame Mura, where a major career opportunity unravels into a terrifying confrontation with sinister presences and a cursed, ancient past.

A Cursed Past Haunts the Village

In BrokenLore: LOW, the story follows Naomi Montgomery, who arrives in the mysterious village of Kirisame Mura for a professional opportunity that could launch her music career.

However, instead of success, she finds herself confronting the ancient legend of the Gashadokuro, a giant skeleton from Japanese folklore, and uncovering the cursed past that haunts the village.

Art Meets Horror

This is a game that is truly enriched by its artistic collaborations. The world features original statues created by the world-renowned Italian sculptor Bruno Lucchi, blending them into the realistic visuals. This is then contrasted with stylized low-poly sequences to create a unique and unsettling atmosphere.

To ensure a truly authentic experience, the game was also developed in collaboration with a psychologist to deliver genuine emotional depth.

The Next Chapter in the BrokenLore Saga

This new tale of terror continues the themes of the BrokenLore series. It follows on from the previous entry, BrokenLore: DON’T WATCH, a game that explored the horrors of isolation through the eyes of a young hikikomori.

With LOW, the series now turns its focus to the chilling power of ancient folklore.

Key Features

  • A Psychological Horror Inspired by Japanese Folklore: Confront the ancient legend of the Gashadokuro.
  • A Unique Artistic Vision: Features original statues by Italian sculptor Bruno Lucchi and blends realistic visuals with low-poly sequences.
  • Developed with a Psychologist: A game designed to deliver genuine emotional depth.

For anyone wondering, Kirisame Mura is a fictional town, not a real place. The name translates to “Misty Rain Village”.
