We were originally expecting to join Johnathon Morris and his adventure through insanity back in Q4 2020, but like many other things that were due to arrive last year, it got pushed back. But hey, at least that would give the team at Altergo Games the chance to continue working on the psychological horror in the hope of pushing out the very best product possible. Time has now run out though as release day is here and Sanity of Morris is available to purchase.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC, Sanity of Morris will take you into the horrors of the mind as you follow one Johnathon Morris who is on the search of his father. The problem is, all kinds of madness is going on in this world, as alien beings, conspiracy theories and utter madness all unfold.
Altergo Games were previously behind the wonderfully woolly world of Woven, but with Sanity of Morris they take a different approach, one that is a bit darker, a bit weirder, and a bit, well, scarier. With a torch at hand, you’ll need to help Morris head through this adventure, taking in clues, rustling around for secrets hidden away, and ensuring that his sanity doesn’t ever get too stretched.
We’ve been lucky enough to have the chance to take in this journey ahead of full release and our full review thoughts surrounding how Sanity of Morris on Xbox Series X plays out can be taken in right now.
If you’re sold on the premise, like the £12.49 asking price, or just feel obliged to wander through this weird world, you’ll discover the game available from the usual digital stores. Our favourite, that of the Xbox Store, will sort out all Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S gamers. If you’re preferring to play on PS4, PS5 or PC through Steam, then well, just head to your store of choice.
