After years shrouded in development darkness, the highly anticipated sequel to a cult classic has finally emerged into the modern nights.

This new chapter in the World of Darkness, from the acclaimed developer The Chinese Room and publisher Paradox Interactive, is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC, with the Standard Edition priced at ÂŁ49.99.

Prepare to awaken as an elder vampire in 21st-century Seattle, navigate the treacherous politics of the Kindred court, and grapple with a mysterious voice trapped within your own Blood.

Awakening in Modern Seattle

You are the Nomad, an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber into the unfamiliar modern nights. Trapped within your Blood is the voice of Fabien, a vampire detective investigating a cold case from a hundred years ago that now threatens both undead and mortal society. Guided by this mysterious entity, you must hunt your way through a Seattle on the brink of open supernatural war.

Visceral Combat and Vampiric Disciplines

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. This action RPG features immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles. You can engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are. Your choice of vampire clan will support and enhance these different approaches.

To survive, you must stalk and feed on the city’s population at night, using your powers or raw persuasion to lure unsuspecting mortals into dark alleys. However, you must always be cautious about breaking the Masquerade. Revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating to much greater threats.

You will rise through vampire society or rail against it, navigating Seattle’s dark underbelly. The city is full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions. Your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what ultimately becomes of the city and its mortal inhabitants.
