If you are still to be found marvelling at the incredibly intricate combat on offer in WARRIORS: Abyss from KOEI TECMO, then you may find the latest DLC add-ons for the hack and slasher very interesting indeed.
The latest in a series of cosmetic DLCs, previous ones including those from the Atelier franchise and the SAMURAI WARRIORS series, the WARRIORS: Abyss – MASTER NINJA Legacy Costume Set and Formal Costume Set are worth checking out.
A Celebration of WARRIORS
Now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, WARRIORS: Abyss, for those not in the know, is a Dynasty Warriors-esque title that sees you face off against huge hordes of enemies, making use of over 100 heroes that each have different devastating powers and abilities.
Summoning heroes throughout the game-world will allow you to synergise such abilities in order to dispose of your foes optimally. When we reviewed the game back in February of this year, we were fans of the action-heavy combat, giving the game a more-than-decent 4/5.
And now, two new cosmetic sets have been added to the game, allowing you to customise your favourite heroes. These come in two flavours, purchasable separately, with the MASTER NINJA Legacy Costume Set adding some colourable offerings to the game. It includes four legacy costumes for Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel and Momiji.
Secondly, the MASTER NINJA Formal Costume Set takes things to a new level, throwing in some costumes to be found in a formal setting. We aren’t sure exactly which formal setting calls for a fully-clad ninja outfit, or a pretty revealing office worker get-up, but who are we to judge? Again, the quartet of Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel and Momiji are on the receiving end of these designs.
