Escape from Life Inc is a bit weird. Not only do you get to play as three animals – a walking fish, an arrogant eagle and a reindeer with a stutter – but you’ll be left trying to help these guys escape from the alien lifeforms that have chained them up in their galactic lab, presumably to try and work out how the fish has grown legs. But weird can be good, and that’s the case here and now as Escape from Life Inc releases on console.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch, Escape from Life Inc comes about via a 15-year old Swedish developer who has spent 18 months or so perfecting this creation.

For the most part you’ll be utilising the powers of our three friendly animals – that fish, the eagle and the reindeer – as the unlikely friends work together to escape the clutched of the aliens. With five chapter in place, a comedic narrative and the chance to bounce on a fat pig’s stomach (it’s fine, it’s in the developer’s blurb), if you’re up for something a bit wacky and unusual, Escape from Life Inc could be your bag.
