rodent warriors xbox

You’re probably pretty used to playing through new experiences as a scout, or a knight, perhaps as a barbarian, wizard, necromancer or even a swashbuckling pirate. But now you get to throw all the usual gaming classes to the back of your mind as the Rodent Warriors comes to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Rodent Warriors will see you playing through proceedings as a mouse, a capybara, a porcupine, beaver, rat or even a weasel, with each dedicated to the usual arts that have frequented the gaming space for years.

And once you decide to join the Rodent Warrior way of life will discover a world in which every single one of your folk relies on their own unique skills, getting stronger, faster, harder and wittier as they progress. Throw in some back story for each fluffy friend, and a list of challenges to keep you powering on, and you’ve got all the basics required of any epic RPG. It’s just you’ll be doing so as a bunch of filthy animals.

Priced at £4.99, Rodent Warriors should well keep you busy for a while too. 7 different quest zones play host to this adventure, with scrolling environments, a glorious mini-map, a fog of war and a dynamic day/night cycle all present too. For that asking price, there is seemingly a decent amount on offer.

There are tons of enemies too, again with their own unique skills and attacks. Take them down and you’ll be gifted the power of many potions, with Epic and Legendary items to recover.

Should you be tempted by the opportunity to join the Rodent Warriors, you’ll find the usual digital stores offering up the goods for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch players, joining the previous drop on Steam. Us Xbox players – either on Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S – will find the Xbox Store doing the usual. Keep an eye out for our full review of Rodent Warriors soon too.
