Slowly and surely, Galdra Studios have pushed their roleplaying Visual Novel to the gaming worlds. After first releasing on PC through Steam, and then on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation, it’s finally time to complete the set, delivering Arcadia Fallen to the Xbox world.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, making the most of Xbox Smart Delivery technology and full new-gen optimisation, is Arcadia Fallen. Of course, it’s on PlayStation, Switch and PC too.

It’s a game that puts you in the role of a young alchemist, one who has suddenly found themselves stuck between humanity and magic. After joining a group of heroes, it’s up to the famous five to go about saving the world. What could be any more tricky?

Well, as this journey plays out, relationships come to the fore too. We’re expecting love triangles, romance and more, with the decisions the player makes dictating how things flow. We’ll find out for sure in our full review – we’re nearly ready to divulge how Arcadia Fallen plays.

For now, get yourself to the Xbox Store, pay up the asking price of £20.49 and kickback whilst your download installs. Alternatively, pick the game up on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or PC through Steam.

Game Description:

Arcadia Fallen is a Roleplay Visual Novel, where your choices shape the personality of your character. Will you be shy, bold, or the one forever making jokes? Play the role of a young alchemist apprentice who is unwillingly bound to an illegal spirit. Suddenly drawn into a war between humanity and magic, they must join a group of unlikely heroes to escape their own doom, hopefully saving the world along the way. On their journey, your alchemist will be joined by a group of five companions, four of which you can form romantic relationships with. Whether you choose to romance anyone, you are also able to form meaningful platonic relationships with everyone, including our fifth companion Mime, who’s totally ready to be your new BFF!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
