Looking for a new Warframe test? The Steel Path is here – and as the name suggests, it delivers a brand new hard mode into the galactic equation.
Available right now for Warframe players on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC to enjoy (after previously only being PC ready), the Steel Path is the latest addition to the ever-evolving world of Warframe, flipping the entire Origin System on its head by increasing the difficulty of every single node available on the Star Chart.
Providing a whole new challenge that mere mortals may find just too tricky, the Steel Path should only really be considered by the most worthy of Tenno. If you think you can reclaim the Origin System and are ready to walk the Steel Path then a greater difficulty and greaer rewards await. Just be aware that it won’t be easy.
Perseverance and strength will be rewarded with The Steel Path, giving you the chance to earn additional resources, work a higher level of Mastery and increase your chance of finding the very best Mods. And as you progress, reclaiming nodes, Teshin will send exclusive Emotes and Trophies your way. And let’s be honest, that’s all we really need in life – emotes and trophies.
You will however also earn Steel Essence from Eximus enemies, allowing you to trade with Teshun for Kuva, Relics or Blueprints for the Bishamo Armor – an Orokin-designed collection that featuees a new helmet, cuirass, pauldrons, greaves and apparel.
So how did you get involved with this Steel Path? Well, you’ll need to have previously completed the Star Chart, but from there should find yourself able to visit Teshin in any Relay in order to begin the journey.
But that’s not all and the Steel Path also includes access to the new Urushu Deluxe Skin. This will see you given the chance to embody the galaxy’s most dangerous flora with the Khora Urushu Collection. This includes the likes of the Khora Urushu Skin, the Veratria Blade and Whip Skin, the Maculatia Skin for Venari or your other favorite Kavat, along with new Agile and Noble Animation Sets.
