You’d expect something with a name like Sugar Tanks to forget about the brutality of war and instead focus on some fun, colourful, sweet gaming options. And honestly, that’s what Sugar Tanks on Xbox looks to bring – at least if we go by the trailer and screens found over at the Xbox Store page.

Uber colourful and – if we’re honest – looking fairly decent visually, Sugar Tanks will task you with the need to defend your home at all costs. You do this by becoming the hero of the Sugar Tanks, taking down old grey tanks as best you can. See, do so and you’ll ensure that the world around you stays super colourful. Fail, and the darkness will take over.
Playing out as an intense, fast-paced tank shooter, there’s promise for Sugar Tanks on Xbox. Whether it works or not will be discovered in full review, but at least the basics are here. Yep, Sugar Tanks brings heroes to the party. And sweet perks. And the chance to upgrade your tank with lives, bombs, shields and more.
