Do you remember being scared silly by the cartoony horror of Bendy and the Ink Machine back in 2018? It’s time for that survival saga to continue as Joey Drew Studios push Bendy and the Dark Revival to the world.

Previously launching on Steam and running some Very- and Overwhelmingly- Positive reviews since that November 22 release, Bendy and the Dark Revival comes to Xbox and PlayStation, continuing on the horrors that revealed themselves in the first game.

Priced at $29.99 / ÂŁ24.99 from the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (although not fully optimised for those new-gen consoles), Bendy and the Dark Revival sees you playing as Audrey as she heads down into the depths of a creepy little animation studio – one that is full of utter madness.

It’s here where Audrey – and you – will be left to take on ink-tainted foes, to solve the most tricky of puzzles and to ultimately steer clear of the ink Demon. Oh, and whilst you’re doing all that you’ll want to find out how to get back to the real world too.

The problem is, in Bendy and the Dark Revival you never really know how things are going to play out, and how the darkest lands of shadow and ink will evolve. As long as you survive though, all should be good in the world.

We’re looking to run a review of Bendy and the Dark Revival on Xbox in the near future, hoping that it takes what we loved about Bendy and the Ink Machine – the great environments, the cartoon world, the puzzles – and manages to build on things as this Dark Revival plays out.

For now, get over to the Xbox Store and take in a download of Bendy and the Dark Revival. You’ll also find the game on PlayStation and PC.

Game Description:

Bendy and the Dark Revival® is a first-person survival horror game and the much anticipated sequel to Bendy and the Ink Machine®. Play as Audrey as she explores the depths of a curiously creepy animation studio that’s gone completely mad. Combat ink-tainted enemies, solve puzzles, and evade the ever-lurking Ink Demon while seeking your way back to the real world. You never know who or what is going to be around the next corner in this dilapidated realm of shadows and ink. Discover the truth. Escape the studio. Above all, fear the Ink Demon…and survive.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
