The swashbuckling King of Seas sets sail for February launch

-

King of Seas 2

We’ve been readying ourselves to set sail with King of Seas for a good while already, and after recently going hands on with 3DCloud’s swashbuckler, anticipation for launch has reached all new heights, if only as this could well be a treasure worth uncovering. Today though that all-important release date has been confirmed, with King of Seas preparing to launch on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC in February.

An action role player that is set on the high seas, King of Seas will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC come February 18th 2021, giving gamers the chance to get their pirate on like never before. Yep, even though Sea of Thieves is still alive and kicking, King of Seas promises to provide yet another pirate fix.

Promising an ocean-filled universe that is full of amazing characters, complete with many breathtaking missions and giving the opportunity for all to become the king of all pirates, King of Seas should well scratch the itch for anyone looking for a seafaring journey or five, with procedurally generated worlds guaranteeing epic adventures. And honestly, epic adventures are all we really want.

Available to wishlist on Steam right now, 3DClouds have also provided a brand new gameplay trailer, one that really should whet your appetite ahead of the launch. You may also wish to check out our preview of King of Seas too – if only as it’ll give a little more insight into what is promised.

We’ll be sure to remind you when that February 18th 2021 launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC sails into view. It should cost in the region of £24.99. Let us know if you’ll be joining us for a fight across the ocean – the comments section is right down below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
