It’s been a while, but finally it’s time to take in the Tales of the Neon Sea on Xbox.
Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Tales of the Neon Sea – a game we first heard about way back in 2018. After a successful Kickstarter campaign and some decent moves onto PC via Steam (we’re looking at Very Positive reviews over there), YiTi Games and Thermite Games launch their cyberpunked, pixel-art adventure to Xbox – and yeah, we know you’re probably well over the whole Cyberpunk push that hit home a couple of years ago.
It’s priced at £16.74 and places players in the shoes of Rex; an old grizzled cop who is most happy when he is found exploring the world around him, investigating the odd bit of crime. But this is a world of intrigue, of adventure, of secrets – a world in which the light from the sun is never seen.
Instead it’s the power of neon that keeps this city thriving, creating shadows, delivering mystery. Those neon lights never go out either and you’ll need to use them to your advantage as you help Rex take in all manner of cases. Scouting for clues may never have been so enlightening.
We’re excited to check out Tales of the Neon Sea on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, if only because it’s a game that has had us interested since way back when that Kickstarter campaign took place. The fact that it’s reviewed well elsewhere just heightens the excitement.
