Poppy Playtime 4 – out now on console

Just when you thought you’d seen the worst that the Playtime Co. factory has to offer, a new, even darker chapter unfolds. Yep, it’s time for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4.

The next installment in the epic and terrifying saga, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4, has launched today, June 26th, 2025, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. From developer and publisher Mob Entertainment, this new descent into madness is available right now for £16.74.

A New Level of Terror Beneath the Factory

Prepare to be pushed deeper into the undiscovered depths of the toy factory, far below anything the world knew existed. Here, you’ll encounter terrifying new threats and discover shocking revelations that will test your courage like never before.

In Poppy Playtime: Chapter 4, your journey takes you far below the familiar floors of the factory into its undiscovered, dark underbelly.

Here, you must outwit unnatural new creations lurking in the shadows, survive long enough to unravel the mysteries behind the twisted experiments, and find a way to escape. Every step will challenge your mind with intricate puzzles, and every dark corner may very well be your last.

Surviving the Nightmare

This chapter promises to expand on the series’ successful formula of puzzle-solving and heart-pounding chase sequences. You’ll encounter new extraordinary characters, some who may guide your way and others who will undoubtedly haunt your nightmares. The lore of Playtime Co. and its twisted past is set to be expanded, revealing more dark secrets.

All of this is wrapped in a heart-pounding atmosphere, brought to life with haunting visuals and an immersive sound design where the terror never lets up.

A Legacy of Critically Acclaimed Scares

The Poppy Playtime series has consistently delivered high-quality horror on Xbox, and we have been there for every terrifying step:

We first faced Huggy Wuggy in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1, awarding it a 4/5 score.

The chase was on again in the bigger, more expansive Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, which earned an impressive 4.5/5.

Most recently, the sinister CatNap pushed us to our limits in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3, which we gave another strong 4/5.

With such a consistent track record of quality scares, expectations for Chapter 4 are incredibly high.
