If you’ve kept your ears to the ground and your eyes peeling the horizon, there’s a good chance you’ll have heard of Trash Sailors. But if you’ve been limited to the Xbox side of the gaming world, it’s highly likely that you’d ever have set sail in a sea of junk. At least not until now.
Trash Sailors hits Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S after previously floating around near the islands of PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. It now comes to shore, hitting Xbox lands to deliver some fun, hand-drawn, cooperative sailing matters. The question is, can you create the trashiest team of sea-goers? Surely your time in Sea of Thieves will have set you in good stead?
Available today on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Trash Sailors comes from those at tinyBuild and their developmental friends at fluckyMachine, giving Xbox players the chance to sail the same seas as their PlayStation, Switch and PC friends as they look to explore a set of the most convoluted waters.
It tells the tale of how a tsunami has caused nothing but devastation, washing up a whole ton of trash for as far as the eye can see. It’s therefore up to you to gather up a fine crew and travel through these seas, maintaining your raft by collecting up the garbage that powers it.
A world that is full of obstacles, in Trash Sailors you’ll be found working your way through a ton of debris, dodging sunken trees, tugboats and more. But the further you set sail, the more that things will open up to you, helping you upgrade your craft in order to improve the overall expedition. Just be sure to keep a watch out for the fabled Trashken.
