The We Were Here series has garnered some serious interest from the PC community, with the Steam releases of We Were Here and We Were Here Too going great guns. Well, now it’s time for Total Mayhem Games to hit the big time – with a launch of the series on Xbox One!

Announced today is the news that the creepy co-op puzzle games of We Were Here and We Were Here Too will be released on Xbox One this year, bringing hugely interesting cooperative puzzle gaming from Steam to console.

If you think you are good enough to escape the sinister Castle Rock then you’ll want to be found giving We Were Here and We Were Here Too on Xbox One a shot, as you and your Antarctic exploring partner attempt to find your way out of a mysterious castle. With only your wits and walkie talkies to hand, you’ll need to explore your new prison and communicate with great effect in order to escape.

Project Lead Lucia de Visser says: “The team at Total Mayhem Games have always been Xbox fans, so bringing our We Were Here games to Xbox One has been a longtime dream of ours. We can’t wait to see how a whole new audience react to the puzzles and mysteries of Castle Rock!”

Playable in any order, all whilst being interconnected, the We Were Here series of games will soon also be joined by a new game – We Were Here Together – bringing even more cooperative exploration opportunities than before.

If you’re in the market for some dark tales and mysterious, complex conundrums and puzzles, then We Were Here and We Were Here Too should be placed right at the top of your gaming radar.
