Bendy and the Ink Machine may not be the number one first-person horror title in terms of how well-known it is, but it’s certainly a cult classic amongst fans of the genre.
This truly terrifying horror game ruined childhood cartoons for many, and there doesn’t seem to be any indication that the newest entry into the franchise – Bendy: Lone Wolf – is any tamer!
Say Hello to Boris
Now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, Bendy: Lone Wolf is a bit of a departure from other entries in the series, by way of it not being a first-person horror experience.
This time around, you play as protagonist Boris, however everything plays out in an isometric perspective. Lone Wolf does however maintain the sepia hue that the Bendy games have become known for, ensuring that whatever lurks in the shadows remains firmly hidden, before it makes its decision to lurch out and frighten you!
Your goal in Bendy: Lone Wolf is to traverse the hallways of Joey Drew Studios – the world’s most evil animation studio – which are home to some properly freakish foes. Luckily, you do have some weapons to fight back with, and the use of traps can be employed in order to give yourself at least a little bit of protection.
Other than that, well-time attacks through the swing of a bat should do the trick, in most cases at least.
