The Peru Hunting Reserve DLC is available today on Xbox, PlayStation and PC, transporting hunters deep into the diverse landscapes of South America for one of the game’s most varied adventures yet.

From Mountain Peaks To Jungle Rivers
One of the biggest draws of the Peru Hunting Reserve is the sheer variety of environments packed into a single location.
Hunters will journey through three unique regions inspired by Peru’s incredible biodiversity. The high-altitude Puna offers sweeping views and ideal conditions for long-range shots, while the mist-covered Yungas cloud forests create a more enclosed and atmospheric hunting experience.
Then comes the dense Tropical Forest, where visibility drops dramatically and every step feels uncertain. It’s here where players will need to adjust their tactics, trading distant rifle shots for a more careful and methodical approach through thick vegetation.
The result is a reserve that constantly encourages adaptation, whether you’re tracking prey across open hillsides or navigating humid jungle trails.
Jaguars, Capybaras And A Host Of New Wildlife
Wildlife has always been the heart of theHunter: Call of the Wild, and the Peru Hunting Reserve brings one of the most diverse collections yet.
A total of 14 species inhabit Intisuyu, with 10 making their debut in the game. Familiar faces such as capybaras and llamas share the reserve with more dangerous residents, including the formidable black caiman and the elusive jaguar.
The jungle is described as the jaguar’s kingdom, and encounters with the apex predator promise to deliver some of the most tense moments the game has offered. Night hunts in particular look set to test even veteran players, with glowing eyes often being the only warning that danger is nearby.
A New Crossbow Joins The Arsenal
To help tackle Peru’s dense terrain, the DLC introduces the Daher Reserve Draw CB-150, a new pistol crossbow designed for stealth-focused hunting.
Complete with a standard red dot sight and multiple bolt options, it offers hunters a quieter alternative to traditional firearms. In a reserve where getting close to your target can often be the difference between success and failure, it could quickly become a favourite tool for many players.
The expansion also includes 60 new missions, with a new notice board system designed to give players more freedom in how they approach objectives and explore the reserve.
