Fruit Goes Boom
The central idea of Trash Raccoon is super simple. Fruit is appearing around the stage and you need to collect it before it turns into an explosive hazard. The more fruit you grab, the more you charge up the powerful Fruit Dash. Once ready, this special move can smash through anything in your way, giving you a useful escape tool when the screen starts getting a little too busy.
Of course, staying alive is easier said than done. Each run throws different mechanics and events your way, meaning you’ll need to react quickly while working out when it is worth grabbing another piece of fruit and when it is better to make a run for safety.
One Run Is Never Quite Enough
Trash Raccoon has been built around a roguelite progression system (of course it has!), so failure isn’t necessarily the end of the story. Survive for as long as possible, earn Can Lids and spend them on upgrades that can help you push further during your next attempt. Play, survive, fail, improve and have another go.
There are nine stages to work through, each bringing its own mechanics and events into the mix. The aim is ultimately to unlock the next stage, giving you another reason to jump straight back into the action when a run inevitably goes pear-shaped.
