Folletti – now on Xbox

Some RPG adventures are built around saving the world. Folletti has a rather more personal problem to deal with.

Yezac Folletti wakes to discover that his wife has been kidnapped by the sinister Degenite Church, sending him into the bizarre land of Krycek in search of answers. Available now for ÂŁ11.74, Folletti combines action-RPG combat with dark humour, strange characters and a story full of surprises.

Welcome To The Strange World Of Krycek

Krycek isn’t exactly the sort of place where you’d expect a straightforward rescue mission. As Yezac searches for his wife, he’ll encounter twisted enemies, eccentric characters and a collection of bizarre quests that gradually expose the conspiracies hiding beneath the surface.

Combat is fast and melee-focused, while exploration brings opportunities to craft weapons and health kits. There are also plenty of odd challenges and creepy-funny cutscenes to break up the fighting as Yezac gets deeper into the mystery.

Your Choices Can Change The Ending

Folletti isn’t simply about getting from one fight to the next. Your decisions and performance help determine which of the game’s graded endings you’ll see.

That gives the strange journey through Krycek another reason to pay attention to what you’re doing. With its dark humour, unusual cast and deliberately bizarre world, Folletti looks to be an action-RPG that’s quite happy to do things its own way.

Folletti is available now for ÂŁ11.74 on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Grab a download and it will happily provide the chance for you to step into Krycek and find out exactly what happened to Yezac’s wife.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
