Thrustmaster have today announced that a line of three new headsets will soon be available for Xbox One and PS4 players to purchase – and these have been designed with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands in mind.

Designed to help Xbox One and PS4 gamers achieve peak performance whilst experiencing the fullest action, the three new headsets from Thrustmaster promise to immerse you into Ubisoft’s largest open world yet. Designed for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, the two flagship models are the Y-350X 7.1 Powered GHOST RECON WILDLANDS Edition and the Y-350P 7.1 Powered GHOST RECON WILDLANDS Edition. Both of these headsets feature a 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound audio system via the Y Sound Commander controller, with the X of the former signifying Xbox One usage, whilst the P of the latter showing that it’ll work brilliantly with PS4. In fact, the PS4 version is a worldwide exclusive with the Y Sound Commander, marking the first use of this award-winning technology on this platform.

Both of those headsets will allow gamers to plunge into the vast expanses of the Bolivian wildlands in truly breath-taking fashion, but that’s not all as Thrustmaster are also creating a GHOST RECON WILDLANDS edition of its best-selling Y-300CPX model: a multiplatform headset, for full compatibility with Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC/Mac.

When you find yourself in sensitive situations, like an elite unit of four Ghosts, stealthily carrying out high-risk missions in the rugged terrain of Bolivia – mastery of what you say and what you hear takes on life-or-death importance. With its ground-breaking new headsets, Thrustmaster is taking these senses to a whole new level, allowing gamers to optimize their exchanges with team members. This results in crystal-clear communication between your squad, and the ability to hear even the slightest sounds from far away, allowing you to anticipate and respond to whatever this hostile environment might throw at you. To achieve this, these headsets have been designed to reflect the game’s audio signature with pinpoint accuracy, using the Thrustmaster development teams’ own in-house, state-of-the-art anechoic chamber.

You’ll be able to pick up the new Thrustmaster Ghost Recon Wildlands gaming headsets from March 7, 2017 with suggested retail prices of £49.99 for the Y-300CPX GHOST RECON WILDLANDS Edition (multiplatform), and £119.99 for both the Y-350X 7.1 Powered GHOST RECON WILDLANDS Edition (Xbox One) and the Y-350P 7.1 Powered GHOST RECON WILDLANDS Edition (PlayStation4).

If you’re in the market for a new headset, and want to show your love for Wildlands, then these look great additions.
