2026's Best Games

Are you ready for a bit of Thunder? Whilst we’d love to be seeing the Thundercats arrive on console, today we’ll just have to make do with Thunder Paw on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch.

Available as the latest title to be ported to console thanks to the team at Ratalaika Games, Thunder Paw on Xbox One, PS4, Vita and Switch sees you taking charge of Thunder, a simple canine who was happily out playing with his favourite ball. That was until he discovered that his parents had been dogknapped and he decided to head off on a mission to save them.

Priced at ÂŁ4.99, Thunder Paw sees you joining Thunder as he works his way through more than 20 levels and 5 different biomes in the hope that he can save his parents. With some trusty weaponry by his side, and special gems that make that gun ever more powerful, this action platformer has all the draw you’ll ever need.

Throw in some challenging bosses to take down, and a rather lovely pixel arted visual style, and it’s easy to see why there is so much to love about this latest cheap Ratalaika title.

Features of Thunder Paw on Xbox One, PS4, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch include:

  • * 20 different levels and 5 different biomes to explore!
  • * Beautiful pixel art graphics!
  • * Upgrade your gun by collecting gems from enemies!
  • * Take on 5 dynamic bosses that each offer a unique challenge!

With previous gems from Ratalaika behind them – the likes of Zero Zero Zero and Milo’s Quest, stand out – and a super cheap price point to hand, anyone looking for a fun new adventure to embark on would probably do well to check out Thunder Paw on Xbox One, PS4, Vita or Switch. Our favoured Xbox Store will happily deliver the required download for those on Xbox One, whilst those looking for the Switch edition may just have to hold out for a couple more days.

Keep an eye out for our upcoming review too. Should be with you in the days ahead.

Game Description:

Thunder was out playing with his ball in the fields, when he suddenly heard a loud explosion near his house! He rushed home, worried about his parents, only to find no one was there. Just a single letter that said his parents had been kidnapped! It’s up to Thunder to rescue his parents! Dominate your enemies with a trusty weapon by your side! Each defeated enemy will drop special gems that make your gun even more powerful!

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
