From the development team at Flazm and publishers at the META Publishing offices, Time Loader warps onto the screens of Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, Time Loader will give players the opportunity to alter the past and save the present of the land within.

It’s priced at £12.49 (Xbox Store, PlayStation Store) and whisks us back to 1995. It’s here where we find ourselves playing through the life of a little RC car robot, left to make the decisions needed in order to alter future states. This will see you amending timelines, all in hope of being able to experience the multiple alternate endings which are promised.

After running fairly successfully since launch on PC, Time Loader now comes to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Nintendo Switch to provide some decent little puzzling to console folk. Brain-teasing puzzles are promised, as are the opportunities to pick up and utilise unique, powerful upgrades – making the most of everyday items to create the tools you will need.

Key features include:

  • Traverse the maze that is the 90s childhood home of your creator – upgrading yourself as you go. Utilise homemade items to form harpoons, boosters and screwdrivers!
  • Solve intuitive, physics-based puzzles to progress – and change the timeline to fabricate the future your creator desires
  • Experience three alternative endings depending on the things you choose to change – and for those perceptive explorative players, a secret ending is on the cards
  • Lose yourself in an immersive story with a companionable RC robot guiding you through the aches and pains of the alternative timelines you’ll inevitably create

We’ve been hands on with Time Loader for a little while, and our full review is up and live, ready for your perusal. Give it a read whilst you wait for your download of Time Loader to work its way into play on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch.

Game Description:

Time Loader is a story-driven puzzle-platformer with tiny robots, alternate realities, nostalgic music, and primitive tech from the 90s! At the helm of a small robot, you’ll travel back to the 90s to prevent a tragic accident. Explore the house of your creator, solve brain-teasing puzzles, acquire unique and powerful upgrades, and see common household items from an entirely new perspective! But remember: meddling with time has serious consequences. You may succeed in changing the past, but can you deal with the result of your actions?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
